Founded by Josef Aichinger Senior, we have been developing our fleet, expertise and services ever since. The demands we place on ourselves grow with the challenges of the market:

International Transports Josef Aichinger GmbH. Our story begins in 1977, a year in which not only our GmbH was founded, but also the first Apple products saw the light of day and the first Star Wars movie debuted. In 1979, the company moved to the Reischenhart industrial estate. Not only did we grow, the first Sony Walkman was introduced and Margaret Thatcher became the UK’s first female Prime Minister.

Opening of further branches
In 1989 we open a branch in Italy and in 1990 in the new federal states. We are not the only ones who cross borders. The fall of the Berlin Wall and the release of Nelson Mandela after 27 years in prison also keep the world busy. Our other mainstays were the introduction of the World Wide Web and the opening of the Eurotunnel

Introduction of further innovations
In 1991 we had the first use of our open car transponder and in 1995 the introduction of GPS. In August 1995, Microsoft launched the Windows 95 operating system, which left its mark on the computer world with its user interface and new functions. In addition, the Schengen Agreement came into force, which abolished border controls between the signatory countries in the European Union and promoted freedom of travel. In 1999, it wasn’t just Boris Becker who went “Am I in yet?” BUT we are also online with our first website.

Full-service provider for Automotive industry
In 2000 we had our first use of closed car transporters and in 2002 Aichinger became a complete supplier for the automotive industry. We therefore survived the millennium change and the introduction of the euro very well.

In 2021, the Aichinger Group launched a new website and in 2023, the company was renamed Aichinger V3 GmbH & Co. KG and our website was relaunched in 2024.
